- Call to Order and Roll Call

- Review/Approval of Minutes
Minutes from the April 21, 2004 meeting were distributed for review and approval. John Holehouse requested it be noted he was present at the April 21 meeting. There being no further corrections to the April minutes, Tariq Kadri moved the minutes be approved, second by Gerrie Fausett, motion carried.
- Public Relations Update
No public relations update available.
- Financial Report Update
Mary Stark thanked Virginia Colina for her hard work and distributed her reports for the committee’s review. She explained that Julie Avnit from FAST, the software accounting system, is currently working on an I-98 state report and because of this there were not many changes since last month. Their goal is to have everything distributed by the next Bond Oversight Committee meeting.

- Consultants for Creating/Maintaining the Master Schedule for Projects
Dave Hetyonk introduced Mr. David Beutel as the district’s new consultant. Mr. Beutel informed the committee that he would make available a presentation demonstrating how the construction projects are being scheduled and their projected timelines. The presentation will be available for the next Bond Oversight Committee meeting.
- San Marcos Theatre Project
Joe Wilcox from KBZ Architects shared a power point presentation of the San Marcos High School Auditorium renovation project.
- Santa Barbara High School ADA Work
Joe Wilcox shared a power point presentation demonstrating the upgrades at Santa Barbara High School.
The handicap accessibility at site renovations was discussed.
- Site Reports and Project Updates (architects)
David Ortiz, principal at La Colina Jr. High, commended Dr. Flores, Dave Hetyonk and district personnel for their hard work.
Jim DiCamillo from WLC Architects was not present, therefore no updates were available from him.
Joe Wilcox shared with the committee that Santa Barbara High School modernization, phase II was three days late going to DSA, but everything is fine.
Dave Cash, principal Dos Pueblos High School informed the committee that the board approved the CEQA plan mitigation and construction will go forward.
- Summer Schedule
The committee will decide, at the next Bond Oversight meeting, weather or not to meet during the summer.
- New Business
A discussion regarding Mr. Foster’s comments took place. Dr. Flores clarified that funds had been committed for each school and that a list of minimum standards, for each school, had been created. She went on to explain that the community donated money and schools raised additional funds to expand on their construction. Fred Rifkin, board member, stated the board is aware of Mr. Foster’s complaints.
The committee decided to reschedule the June 16 meeting. The next Bond Oversight Committee meeting was scheduled for June 17, 2004.
