- Call to Order and Roll Call
Meeting called to order at 6:00 p.m by Chairman Larry Vranish

- Review/Approval of Minutes
Minutes from the May 19, 2004 were distributed for review and approval. Mr. Tariq Kadri noted his name had been misspelled in paragraph two. He requested it be corrected. There being no further corrections, minutes were approved as corrected.
- Public Relations Update
Larry Vranish reported the school signs at Dos Pueblos High School were working wonderfully.
- Financial Report Update
Mary Stark distributed a draft financial report and reviewed it with the committee. A question and answer session took place.
Mary also reported that the district had hired a financial consultant and were recommending a new bond be issued. She stated she was requesting the board take action by July 1st and it would take 30-60 days after to receive the funds. The cost of issuing a bond was discussed along with the board agenda process. The committee requested clarification regarding conference and action items.
Mary went on to report on state matching funds, projects sent to the Division of State Architects (DSA) and state reports.
- Master Schedule for Projects – Dave Beutel, Cannon Associates
Mr. Beutel gave a brief presentation on the timeline of construction projects and answered questions from the committee. He requested that suggestions or corrections concerning his report be sent to Carl Mayrose and reminded the committee the report is work in progress and should be considered a DRAFT.
- ADA Report – Michael Gonzalez/Loggan Hopper
Mr. Gonzalez reported on the American with Disabilities Act (ADA) work being doing out at the different school sites.
- Site Reports and Project Updates (architects)
WLC Architects reported on their sites: construction is moving along at La Colina and Goleta Valley Junior Highs, Dos Pueblos High School is in Division of State Architect (DSA) and construction might start in as little as 60 days, Dos Pueblos is working on the pool project.
KBZ Architects reported on their sites: La Cumbre, Phase 1 is 50% complete, Phase II July 9, final check, San Marcos High School auditorium working, Phase 1 is being checked by DSA, gym and pool, returned from DSA and need to determine what project starts first, Santa Barbara High School (SBHS) Phase 1, package b 50% complete, Phase II in DSA, SBHS varsity locker in bid, due 7/20, elevator project out to bid, bleachers in construction, SBJHS is 85% complete.
- Summer Schedule
Motion was made by Mr. Kaner to cancel the July meeting and meet on August 18th the motion was seconded by Mr. Kadri.
- New Business
Dr. Flores announced that this was her last meeting. She is leaving the Santa Barbara School Districts. The committee wished Dr. Flores the best of luck.
- Meeting adjournment
Meeting adjourned at 7:05 p.m.
