Child Development encourages district staff with preschool-age children to consider enrolling their child in the free Universal Preschool Program or the new Reggio Emilia preschool class.

Free Universal Preschool
Open enrollment is underway for 3 1/2- and 4-year-olds from families of all income levels. McKinley Preschool has space in the afternoon session for fall 2007.

Universal Preschool offers many age-appropriate activities to develop language and cognitive skills. The program is delivered by a high-quality staff.

Reggio Emilia
