Dos Pueblos High School Concert Choir to Perform on December 8 and December 9

The 85-member Dos Pueblos High School Concert Choir will be featured in the 2007 Holiday Festival of Voices concert on December 8 at First Presbyterian Church, 7:00 pm. Admission is $12, adults; $10, students/seniors. Tickets can be purchased at the door. The First Presbyterian Church is at State and Constance streets.

The choir will perform again at 7:00 pm on December 9 at the Marjorie Luke Theatre (at Santa Barbara Junior High School), 721 Cota Street, Santa Barbara. Admission is $12, adults; $10, students/seniors.

Both concerts will feature holiday selections ranging from classical to jazz.

The Dos Pueblos High School Vocal Music Department is comprised of four vocal ensembles, including the internationally known Dos Pueblos Jazz Choir and Combo (winner of the Santa Barbara News-Press Reader’s Choice Award 2007 for Best Performing Arts Group), as well as an International Baccalaureate Program music class. Brian Slotnick-Lastrico is the vocal music director.
