Sailors from the USS Ronald Reagan Rolled Up their Sleeves and Helped Our Schools
Last Saturday, January 12, about 40 sailors from the USS Ronald Reagan gave up precious shore time to paint, landscape, move equipment, clean rain gutters, plant trees, and do a host of other tasks at Santa Barbara High, Dos Pueblos High, and San Marcos High. Not much older than the high school students we serve, they came to our three school sites prepared to make a difference, and they did.
Thank you Larry Vranish, Art Gonzalez, Dave Meister, Russell Vior, and Jerry Vasquez for supervising the work.
