The Santa Barbara School Districts and the City Partner for After School Youth Programs
On January 22, the board of education unanimously approved an exciting new partnership between the city of Santa Barbara and the Santa Barbara School Districts. The new partnership will allow junior high schools to host city of Santa Barbara programs offered by community agencies such as the Youth Media Project, the Surfrider Foundation, the Police Activities League, and Club West Track Club.
The city is currently seeking new partners to provide youth-based activities, and will assist qualified organizations with their applications to join this new partnership.
