High School District to Apply For School Community Violence Prevention Program Grant Funds
At their January 22 meeting, the board authorized an application to the California Department of Education and Office of Attorney General for two School Community Violence Prevention Program grants to address school safety and violence prevention issues in our secondary schools. If we are successful in our application, the district could receive up to $1 million spread over the next five years to support our intervention and prevention initiatives to keep our schools safe and reduce youth violence in our community.
