Local Elementary Students to Participate in “Rhythms From Around The World” on Friday, May 2
Student performers in grades 3-6 from Cesar Chavez Charter School, Adams Elementary School, and Solvang Elementary School will bring “Rhythms From Around The World” to the Marjorie Luke Theatre at Santa Barbara Junior High School on Friday, May 2, 2008, at 7:00 p.m. Suggestion donation is $5 per child and $10 for adult.
The students have been studying with Santa Barbara Dance Institute teaching artists bring music and dance to the classroom during school hours, inspiring children to realize their potential by motivating them to believe in themselves, value artistic expression, and develop a personal standard of excellence.
