United Way Santa Barbara Welcomes Your Voice in This Week’s Community Forums
The United Way of Santa Barbara invites you to share your thoughts on what our community should focus on. United Way makes a difference for our districts’ children through their programs for youth, including the very popular Fun In The Sun program.
If your would like to join the community's efforts to create a better future for children and families, consider attending one of the three scheduled community vision forums.
- 6:00-8:00 p.m., Tuesday, May 20 at Goleta Valley Community Center, 5679 Hollister Avenue, Goleta
- 6:00-8:00 p.m., Wednesday, May 21 at Braille Institute, 2031 De la Vina Street, Santa Barbara
- 6:00-8:00 p.m. Thursday, May 29 at Faulkner Gallery, Santa Barbara Public Library, 40 E. Anapamu Street, Santa Barbara
At these forums, community members will share their thoughts and ideas on what our community needs to focus its efforts on to really improve local people's lives. These forums are part of the Power of Partnership Initiative, a wonderful collaborative effort by multiple agencies, individuals, foundations and organizations to create lasting improvements in many of our community’s most pressing issues.
