Dos Pueblos High School to Present “Classics to Modern and Movie Magic” Concert
The Dos Pueblos High School Concert Band and Orchestra will present it's spring concert, “Classics to Modern and Movie Magic,” on Wednesday, May 28, at 7:00 p.m. in the new Dos Pueblos High School theater.
Classics include works by Bach, Barber, and Tchaikovsky; modern works include “Dancing at Stonehenge” by Anthony Suter; for movie magic, the band and orchestra together will perform a six-part suite from all of the Star Wars movies.
Admission is $5.00 for adults and free for students. Proceeds will benefit the music department's quest for a band shell and risers.
