Spaces Still Available for June 7 Preschool School Parent and Caregiver Expo

The Santa Barbara School Districts, the Orfalea Fund, First 5 of Santa Barbara County, and many other local school districts and partners are sponsoring the first Preschool Parent and Caregiver Expo on Saturday, June 7, 2008, from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm on the West Campus of Santa Barbara City College.

It will be a highly informative day for parents and caregivers to learn more about how to prepare their 3-5 year old child for kindergarten. The workshop topics include: early literacy, constructive discipline, healthy habits for life, and how parents can impact their child's learning in just 15 minutes a day.

Spaces are still available for this exceptional opportunity; registration is required. Parents can register online at www.first5santabarbaracounty.org.

The conference is free of charge and includes a complimentary box lunch and many giveaways. All sessions are also in Spanish.
