Three Percent Salary Increase for Management and Confidential Employees

In 2007-08, the districts’ management and confidential employees submitted a proposal requesting the same percentage salary increase negotiated by the districts and the Santa Barbara Teachers Association for certificated employees for the 2008-09 school year. This proposal was delayed pending the districts’ 2007-08 fiscal year budget development process and the completion of the multi-year projections for 2009-10 and 2010-11 fiscal years.

At the June 10, 2008 board meeting the board of education passed the proposal for a three percent increase for management and confidential employees, effective July 1, 2008.
