Districts’ Top Volunteers: Students Exceed Community Service Requirement
One of our graduation requirements is 60 hours of community service. Many students far exceed that number. Two students from each high school were recognized at the June 10 board meeting for having earned the highest number of community service hours at their respective school.
- Dos Pueblos High School
- Leah Savage, 896.75 hours
- Anne DeFeyter, 1,646 hours
- San Marcos High School
- Esther Flores, 610 hours
- Zachary Pieron-Belway, 694 hours
- Santa Barbara High School
- Tony Johnson, 1083 hours
- Brian Rowse, 1,663 hours (Brian is the senior with the highest number of hours in the secondary district)
