Dos Pueblos High Summer School Closure
Because of the nearby Gap Fire, summer school classes for Wednesday, July 2, 2008, have been canceled at Dos Pueblos High School, 7266 Alameda Avenue, Goleta, CA 93117.
The school is being used by Santa Barbara County emergency services personnel as a staging area and as an incident command center.
Approximately 300 students currently attending summer session classes at the high school are affected.
Additional cancellations will depend on status of the fire.
Students and parents are encouraged to monitor the Santa Barbara School Districts’ web site, www.sbsdk12.org, for updated information on the summer school schedule for Thursday, July 3.
Dos Pueblos High School’s summer session was already scheduled to be closed on Friday in observance of the Fourth of July holiday.
