Parks and Recreation After School Program

Santa Barbara Parks and Recreation's Youth Activities Supervisor Terry Brown reports that all after school sports and enrichment programs are FREE to students at Santa Barbara, La Cumbre, La Colina and Goleta Valley junior high schools. These programs are endorsed by the Santa Barbara School Districts and cosponsored by Police Activities League and Club West.

Classes start Tuesday, September 2, 2008.

Students can register at the school or online at www.sbparksandrecreation.com. For more information, call 564-5495 or your school office. Contact your school site coordinators or go to your junior high school office or the districts' website at www.sbsdk12.org to obtain registration information.

Additional parks and recreation programs for teens are available through their Twelve35 Teen Center. Information: 882-1235 or www.sbparksandrecreation.com/teens
