San Marcos High School to Honor the School’s 2008 Olympians
San Marcos High School’s leadership class has organized a celebration for tomorrow, September 5, to honor San Marcos graduates who participated in the 2008 Olympics in China. The celebration will be held in the Greek Theatre, starting at 11:10 am. The entire student body will attend.
San Marcos High School is very proud of its three alumni who were Olympic athletes and the one alumni who was an Olympic head coach:
- Todd Rogers, gold medal, beach volleyball
- Mark Warkentin, 8th place, open water swim
- Adam Duvendeck, men’s cycling team
- Terry Schroeder, head coach, men’s water polo (the athletes on the men’s water polo team received silver medals)
