Coming in October 2008
The California Department of Education recognizes October 2008 as Character Education Month and also Computer Learning Month. The state calendar also includes:
- October 1 National Child Health Day (36 United States Code Section 105)
- October 5-11 National Fire Prevention Week
- October 12-18 National School Lunch Week
- October 15-21 America’s Safe Schools Week
