Santa Barbara High’s Maggie McDermut to serve as congressional page
Maggie McDermut, a junior at SBHS, will serve as a congressional page for the US Congress for the Spring Semester, from January 25 until June 6. According to the Office of Congresswoman Lois Capps, Maggie will be part of the U.S. House of Representatives’ Page Program. The pages live in dorms and take five academic classes at the House Page School, an accredited academic institution. The teens have a full schedule attending classes and also fulfilling their responsibilities as a congressional page.
