Justice

A poem by Ian Rader

Aint no justice for the people these days,
the whole color of the rainbow getting scrutinized and dazed.
But something in this just doesn’t seem right,
the whole world and the step momma liven in fright.
A shadow everywhere in sight.
I cant breath.
Please OH LORD you can’t leave.
People in this life need to see there is hope for thee,
for even my enemy been there for me.
We all know just how cold that wind can blow,
So where is the justice, I don’t even know.
So when you see your fellow man walking down that street,
give him a nod and sure to be sweet.
For we all got problems no reason to beat,
or kick in the teeth,
or even slam your people on the hard concrete.
For every one marches to their own beat,
Get the hell up out your seat.
We got problems,
no lying,
there is a whole world out there crying.
But also remember there is hope so keep humble,
remember to look to the sunrays at the end of the tunnel.
Keep in mind though that rocky roads could crumble.
And if you didn`t hear me the first time I will repeat it,
there is justice out there but you cant always see it.
You got to look hard until you free it from that prison wall,
And remember keep it tall for the world out there just aint that small.
So help that old lady cross the street,
give a hug to the man you wanted to beat.
Buy some food for the homeless liven on the street.
Your fellow man is out there you better run to greet,
for if you don’t let him eat he`ll be six feet deep.
Hungry and tired slipping into a long ass sleep...
Pardon my French but the world just aint that sweet,
so why should my beat be so discreet.
