Tax Time Is Just Around the Corner and Santa Barbara High’s Volunteer Income Tax Assistance Program Is in Full Swing

Free tax preparation for low-to-moderate income workers is now in its 14th year of operation at Santa Barbara High School. The school’s Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program is offering free tax preparation services to low-to-moderate income workers. From 3-6 pm, in room 22, 30 IRS-trained students are assisting clients and filing IRS Form 1040.

Santa Barbara High School’s VITA program is part of the Santa Barbara County Education Office Regional Occupational Program (ROP).
