Dos Pueblos High School’s Science Bowl Team Takes Top Honors in Regional Competition
This weekend, five Dos Pueblos High School students coached by Chris Jones placed first out of 32 teams in the U.S. Department of Energy's regional Science Bowl competition in Bakersfield. A second group of five students coached by Laurie Burkhardt placed fifth in the competition. This is only the second time Dos Pueblos has entered the competition, they finished second last year.
The Dos Pueblos team will now be headed on an all-expense-paid trip to Washington, D.C. to compete in the national competition. Congratulations Helen Wang, Anjian Wu, Nick Su, Da-Bin Ryu, Felix Li, and Coach Jones!
