FCMAT Preliminary Report
The board of education heard a preliminary report from the Fiscal Crisis & Management Assistance Team (FCMAT) special education evaluation team at Tuesday night’s board meeting. The preliminary recommendations included a new administrative structure for special education, including an executive director, an elementary director, a secondary director, and three program specialists. FCMAT also recommended a board appointed parent advisory committee and a volunteer resource parent position. The board approved job descriptions for the executive director position and director positions and authorized the recruitment of candidates for the positions.
