San Marcos High’s Concert Band Headed for Carnegie Hall
San Marcos High School Concert Band will compete at the Carnegie Hall National Band and Orchestra “New York Wind Band Festival ” on April 8, 2009.
Students will host a “Send-Off Concert and Dessert” in the school cafeteria, Wednesday, March 25 at 7 pm. Tickets are available from students or at the door, $10 ($7 students). Proceeds will help offset the concert band’s travel expenses.
