Dos Pueblos Had Strong Showing at California State Mock Trial Championships in Riverside
Over the weekend Dos Pueblos High School had a great weekend in Riverside at the California Mock Trial State Tournament where the team ended up 13th out of 35 teams (each of the teams were winners of their respective county championship).
Two of Dos Pueblos team members won the individual state championship awards for best witnesses. Junior Rashi Singh was named the tournament's most outstanding expert witness for her portrayal of forensic chemistry expert Dr. Kelly King, and sophomore Juhi Khemani was named the tournament's most outstanding defendant for her portrayal of political organizer and budding rap-star Leslie Lane.
