Dos Pueblos High’s Virtual Enterprise Aces Venture Capital Competition

Congratulations to the Dos Pueblos Virtual Enterprise team for their showing at the fifth Annual Bay Area International Trade Fair. In their second ever trade fair, Dos Pueblos High's “Green Inc.” team received:

• First place in the Venture Capital Competition (the main event)
• Third place in the Trade Fair Booth
• Honorable Mention in the Human Resources Competition

This follows the school's first trade fair competition in Bakersfield, in which Green Inc. received first place in salesmanship (new schools), second place in web design (new schools), eighth place in marketing, and ninth place in trade fair booth (new schools).

Students at Dos Pueblos and other area high schools are developing leadership, communications and business skills through the programs like Virtual Enterprise, which are run by the Santa Barbara County Office Regional Occupation Program.
