San Marcos High School’s Alice Zajic Moves Forward in Lions Club Speech Contest
Congratulations go out to San Marcos High School senior Alice Zajic for winning the area level of the Lions Club Speech Contest, “Water...Will California be left High and Dry?” Alice won at the club level, the zone level, and now the area level for a total of $250.00.
On April 25, she heads to Thousand Oaks to compete at the district level against three other student winners of their respective Lions Club areas. Alice will compete for $4,500 in scholarship money at the district level. The winner goes on to the finals where he/she has the opportunity to compete for a total of $21,000.00 in scholarship money provided by the Lions Club Speech Contest Endowment. Good luck Alice!
