League of Women Voters’ April 15 Forum on Effective Programs in Secondary Schools
The League of Women Voters is encouraging the public to take a brown bag lunch to the Louise Lowry Davis Community Center (De La Vina and Victoria Streets) on Wednesday, April 15, noon to 2 p.m. Presentors include principals Mark Capritto (California High School Exit Exam), John Becchio (pyramid of interventions), Mark Swanitz (Advancement Via Individual Determination), and Santa Barbara County Education Office’s Susan Salcido (professional learning communities). Former board member Nancy Harter will moderate the forum, which will be videotaped for broadcast on public access television.
