San Marcos High Takes Silver at Carnegie Hall
Congratulations San Marcos High School Wind Band, silver medal winners at the 2009 New York Wind Band Festival, which took place on April 8 in Stern Auditorium/Perelman Stage at Carnegie Hall in New York City. Led by director Dan Garske, the students performed Exultate by Samuel R. Hazo, Mysterious Village by Michael Colgrass, and Danza No. 2 by Bruce Yurko.
