A big city boy moves to a small town and learns that all dancing and rock music have been banned. How do a teen and his friends make rock music and dancing legal and revitalize the spirit of the town? You will need to be at Santa Barbara High’s performance of FOOTLOOSE to find out. Director Otto Layman and his talented cast will bring Dean Pitchford’s screenplay, and lyrics, to life. The fast-paced performance includes 1980s classics such as “Footloose,” “Let’s Hear It for the Boy,” “Almost Paradise,” and “Waiting for a Girl Like You.”
FOOTLOOSE will be performed on April 24, 25, 30, May 1, 2 at 7 p.m. Tickets are $10 for adults and $7 students. They can be purchased online at www.sbhstheatre.com
