Santa Barbara High School Art Department to Showcase Multimedia Exhibit by More Than 200 Students, Beginning April 30
Santa Barbara High School's Art Department Spring Show 2009 opening reception will take place on Thursday, April 30, from 4 to 7 p.m. in the school’s cafeteria and quad area. The exhibition will showcase the work of approximately 250 students in drawing and painting, color and design, jewelry, and sculpture classes taught by Brooke Van Der Kar, Claudia Gaustad, Hania Geremia, and Laura Wooster. On April 30 there will also be live music in the quad by the Santa Barbara High band plus art work that band members have been working on for a show. The exhibition will be on display in the cafeteria until Friday, May 1.
