Man of La Mancha at San Marcos High Held Over and Performances Scheduled for May 14, 15, and 16

San Marcos High School's production of Dale Wasserman's Man of La Mancha has been rescheduled to this Thursday, Friday, and Saturday May 14, 15, 16 at 7:00 pm. Due to the Jesusita Fire, last week's performances were postponed. Fortunately for the cast, crew and orchestra, the San Marcos staff and administration moved other events in conflict so that the show could go on and Man of La Mancha could again be performed. “The production is outstanding and it would truly be a shame if we couldn't share this show with the community,” says David Holmes, director.

As a way to reach out to the community in the aftermath of this fire, San Marcos High School's Performing Arts Department is extending an invitation to anyone who had to leave the performance early last Thursday, to see the rest of the show free of charge on any of the nights remaining. In addition to this, anyone who has suffered a loss in the Jesusita Fire or who is still unable to occupy their home, is invited to see the show free of charge. As a way to say thank you to the firefighters and law enforcement who did such a great job on this fire San Marcos High is extending an invitation to them to see the show free of charge. Those mentioned above need only identify themselves at the VIP Door for admission.

For more information call 967-4581 ext 355. Tickets for Man of La Mancha may be purchased in advance through the San Marcos High School business office or on the night of the performance starting at 6:15 pm from the box office. San Marcos High School is located at 4750 Hollister Avenue, Santa Barbara.
