Instructional Time and Days Waiver Regarding the Jesusita Fire
Message from Ana Hernandez in the districts’ Business Office
Because of the Jesusita Fire, our districts will be filing an application for a waiver to allow our districts to be credited with full Average Daily Attendance (ADA) and instructional minutes under this emergency situation for all school closures as well as for any material decrease in ADA during this period of time.
I have been in contact with California Department of Education and have been following the process as required to receive approval for this waiver district-wide. We are confident that our districts will receive this approval. Thus, our schools will NOT have to make up the instructional time and days lost due to the Jesusita Fire.
