Dos Pueblos and San Marcos Make Newsweek’s List of Top High Schools in the Nation
In the latest edition of Newsweek, two Santa Barbara School Districts high schools were included in its list of “America’s Top High Schools.” Dos Pueblos High School is ranked number 805 in the country, with San Marcos coming in at number 1,344.
The two schools made the list based on Newsweek’s ranking methodology: the number of Advanced Placement, International Baccalaureate and/or Cambridge tests taken by all students at a school in 2008 divided by the number of seniors who graduate in May or June.
