Each October 1, California public school districts officially report enrollment figures to the state using the California Basic Educational Data System (called CBEDS). While we are not at that point in time yet, we do monitor the first ten days of our school year, which gives us a snapshot of how this year’s enrollments are stacking up.
Our elementary districts’ enrollment last Friday, September 4, was 5,861. Friday’s enrollment reflects an increase of about one percent compared to last year’s CBEDS.
In the secondary district, last Friday’s enrollment was 9,824. Friday’s enrollment reflects a decrease of about one percent compared to last year’s CBEDS.
