Santa Barbara Junior High is saving money by monitoring trash and green waste
Santa Barbara Junior High reports that the school reduced a trash pick-up day per week and have green waste picked up only as needed (instead of once a week). Eric Lohela from the city ran the cost savings. As a result, the school is saving $700 per month.
