This week, La Colina’s Associated Student Body is collecting canned goods for the Unity Shoppe.
Goleta Valley Junior High students are in the midst of their Care and Share Food Drive, which ends this Friday.
From November 30-December 11, La Colina students will be participating in the San Marcos High School penny drive. According to Megan Cotich, “Students are encouraged to empty their penny banks and donate them to their homeroom class jar. The homeroom classes will be competing against each other, all in the spirit of helping our community. All proceeds are donated to the Unity Shoppe during their annual telethon. Our goal is to raise over $3,000.”
