The Santa Barbara Education Foundation is hosting a three-in-one event on December 8
Santa Barbara Education Foundation's (SBEF) annual HOPE Award will be honoring Pete Relis, Salud Carbajal, and Gina Carbajal. The HOPE Award reception will be followed by a concert benefiting SBEF and music in both the elementary and secondary districts. The concert, at the Granada Theatre, will feature Grammy Award winner Michael McDonald. Students from music programs throughout our districts’ schools will perform on stage with Mr. McDonald for some of his most famous tunes.
These programs are complemented by a community-wide instrument drive where new and used instruments may be donated the day of the event at the Granada from noon to 9pm.
