Upcoming San Marcos High School choir performances

The San Marcos High School A Cappella Choir and nationally recognized Madrigal Singers were selected to perform at Disneyland's Candlelight Ceremony with guest narrator, Jon Voight. The holiday performance—with a guest narrator telling the Christmas story and includes an orchestra and choir of 600 voices—has been an annual tradition at Disneyland since the 60s. San Marcos was one of 16 choirs selected from 70 auditioning choirs.

Locally, the choir will perform at the following venues events:

• Saturday, December 12, Four Seasons Biltmore 6:00 to 7:00pm
• Sunday, December 13, concert at B'nai Brith Temple 4:00pm. All Choirs
• Wednesday, December 16, Annual Winter Concert, "Rejoice," held at San Roque Church, 7:00pm. Performers include the 33-voice men's choir, Royal Knights, A Cappella Choir, Enchante, Madrigal Singers and Girl's Chorus.

Holiday music and a selection of contemporary choral pieces will be performed along with a few surprises.
