And the Holiday Parade winners are…
On Friday, December 4, the 57th Annual Downtown Holiday Parade Unwrapped the Holiday Magic on State Street. Sponsored by the Santa Barbara Downtown Organization, the parade featured over 70 entries and over 2,600 participants. With more than 50,000 spectators.
Following are the 2009 parade winners from our school districts:
- Most Theme Oriented – Grand Prize: Cesar Chavez Charter School
- Best Senior High School Band: Santa Barbara High School Marching Dons
- Best Junior High School Band: Goleta Valley Junior High School
- Best Elementary School Band: Santa Barbara Elementary All District Marching Band
- Best Drill Team: Dos Pueblos High School Cheer and Song
