In coordination with the American Institute of Architects-Santa Barbara Chapter and the Santa Barbara County Arts Commission, the Architectural Foundation announces a new exhibit of recent drawings from the Kids Draw Architecture program at the Channing Peake Gallery. Located on the First Floor of the County Administration Building at 105 East Anapamu Street, the Channing Peake Gallery is open Monday-Friday from 8 am-5 pm.
The acclaimed Kids Draw Architecture program, created by the Architectural Foundation of Santa Barbara, is celebrating its 20th year of service to youth in our community. This exhibit features selected children’s drawings from the 2009 sketch sessions held at McKinley Elementary School and La Cumbre Junior High, and reflects the architectural styles of these beautiful historic buildings. The Architectural Foundation of Santa Barbara is a non-profit organization founded in 1983 for the purpose of educating our community about the built environment.
