Santa Barbara Film Festival 10-10-10 winners

A round of applause for San Marcos High School students Katie Elster and Taylor Fisher, winners of the film festival’s 10-10-10 student screenwriting and filmmaking competitions for high school students. Katie’s screenplay, “With all my Heart,” and Taylor’s film, “The Invisible,” took top awards. The winners each received $500.
Congratulations also go out to all of the district’s filmmaking finalists: Erik Choquette, Santa Barbara High; Jorge Flores, San Marcos High; Paul Leutheuser, San Marcos High, Samuel Foley Santa Barbara High and the district’s screenwriting finalists Dylan Douglas, San Marcos High; Erik Choquette, Santa Barbara High; Frances Rozhko, San Marcos High; and Stephen Amspoker, San Marcos High.
