Geoffrey Canada on “Reimagining Community: What We Can Do to Help Every Child Succeed” at the Luke Theatre tomorrow
On February 17, 8:00 p.m., inspirational speaker Geoffrey Canada will be at the Marjorie Luke Theatre for a free public speaking engagement. Canada, president and CEO for Harlem Children’s Zone and author of “Whatever It Takes,” will talk about his pioneering work helping children and families in Harlem. He is a passionate advocate for education reform. Following his talk, there will be a panel discussion with local leaders engaged in work with local families and students.
