The 41st annual DP Jazz Festival takes place this Saturday
This Saturday, March 6, Dos Pueblos High School will host its 41st annual DP Jazz Festival at the school’s Performing Arts Center. Schools from all over southern and central California will bring junior high and high school big bands and combos to perform, receive clinics, and compete. The day culminates with a evening concert featuring the DP Jazz Band, directed by Les Rose, and the Santa Barbara City College Lunchbreak Band, directed by Jim Mooy.
The jazz festival begins at 8:30 a.m. and the evening concert starts at 7:00 p.m. Tickets will be available at the door for $8-$10.
