2010 Arbor Day national poster contest winners
The Arbor Day national poster contest is open to fifth graders. Locally, Santa Barbara Beautiful has sponsored the local contest. This year’s theme was Trees are Terrific...and Energy Wise! The local winners were identified on March 8 and they will now go on to compete at the state level in Sacramento. One winning poster will represent California at the national level of the Arbor Day poster competition.
Four of the six local winners are from the Santa Barbara Elementary School District: Klithia Gonzalez, Cleveland School; Ulises Lopez Mora, Roosevelt School; Fernanda Navarro, Franklin School; and Anahi Gijon, Adams School.
