Franklin Elementary school mural unveiled at McDonald’s on Milpas Street
At 11:15 this morning, Franklin Elementary School staff and students were honored guests at the ribbon cutting/dedication of the newly remodeled store on Milpas Street. The students were recognized for the 13-foot long mural that they created and is permanently displayed on the store. The mural project was made possible by an anonymous donor who fully funds the school’s art program and pays the fees of guest artists plus the donation of countless 1-inch tiles by NS Ceramic.
