Young Soloists Showcase Concert features several district students
Seven students, chosen by audition from the Granada Music & Arts Conservatory, will perform with a professional orchestra at the 26th Annual Young Soloists Showcase at the Granada Theatre on Sunday, April 25, 3:00-5:00 p.m. Every year area students who study at the Conservatory audition for a chance to appear in the showcase. Seven finalists were selected to perform in this season’s concert. Five of the students are from the Santa Barbara Secondary School District: violinist Camille Miller, Dos Pueblos High School; violinist Sophia Prykhitko, San Marcos High School; pianist John Etsell, San Marcos High School; pianist Sio Tepper, Santa Barbara High School; and pianist Sophia Zheng, Goleta Valley High School.
