Nancy Weiss to speak on healthy school lunch programs
Nancy Weiss, the districts’ director of nutrition services, will be one of the guest speakers at a free “Total Health: Wellness for Body, Mind and Spirit” lecture. The lecture will take place on April 27, 7:00-8:45 p.m., Goleta Valley Community Center, 5679 Hollister Avenue, Goleta. Topics will include: how to achieve optimal health and wellness, discovering foods that will keep you healthy and youthful, latest information on school lunch programs, and organic farming.
