GREASE opens at San Marcos High this Thursday

GREASE is the word. San Marcos High School’s Theatre Arts Department kicks off the musical on April 29 at 7:00 p.m. The show continues April 30, May 5, 6, 7, 8 at 7:00 p.m. GREASE is the story of a 1958 romance between Sandy, a foreign-exchange student, and Danny, leader of the boys’ gang “The T-Birds.” Tickets are $10 for adults and $8 for seniors and students and are available for purchase by going to the Royals Online Store.

This season marks the 25th year that performing arts director and teacher David Holmes directs San Marcos High’s annual spring musical. Mr. Holmes, a tireless advocate for quality art education, has inspired generations of students on stage as shared the love of theatre with students in the audience.
