Santa Barbara Junior High presents Willy Wonka Jr!
On May 6, 7, 8 at 7:00 p.m., ticket holders can enter into a world of vibrant colors, magical music, and pure imagination as Santa Barbara Junior High presents Willy Wonka Jr! in the Marjorie Luke Theatre. Music includes time-honored favorites such as "The Candy Man," "I Want It Now," and "Pure Imagination." This dynamic musical will delight and captivate children of all ages as they join Charlie and the other lucky Golden Ticket winners on their chocolate factory adventure.
Adapted from Roald Dahl’s Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and directed by Heather Marshall, this classic satire transports the audience back to the enchantments of childhood, while comically cautioning against the unchecked indulgence that keeps us children forever.
General admission tickets can be purchased at the door, adults $10 and children/students $5. The run time is approximately 1 hour 45 minutes, including one intermission during which refreshments will be available.
