The results of the National Latin Exam have been reported and the students at Dos Pueblos have again well represented their school. Dos Pueblos students won 82 awards. Of the first-year students, 21 won the Outstanding Achievement Award, the highest award available to them. Three of students (Laura Baldwin, Bethany Laskin, and Daniel Richman) had perfect scores. Only 795 students out of over 18,800 who participated in the entire United States, Australia, Canada, Mexico, England, Italy, New Zealand, Poland, Bulgaria, China, Guam, Japan, Korea, Singapore, and Zimbabwe attained this distinction.
The advanced students won ten gold medals and ten silver medals. The gold medal winners are Kyle Gilbert, Brian Lockwood, Emma Rakichevich, John Elsworth, April Gadsby, Tatjana Mutinelli, Renee Krieger, Ilan Goodman, Rachel Stainer, and Jacob Wiener. Carpe Diem!
